Don't do that to your device - it will invalidate the warranty. I've never heard this statement from anyone but Czechs.
Another curiosity is the penchant for setting the alarm clock to wake up in the middle of the night to take a tablet because the pharmacist said take one every six hours. Does anyone else in the world do this?
I know that lots of cultures applaud when a plane lands. The Czechs were the first I experienced this with and I was mighty surprised, I'm here to tell you.
I love the way orchestral musicians shake hands with their fellow players at the end of a concert. I don't recall seeing that anywhere else in the world.
