Drinking does not a difference make

Sometimes something relatively peripheral is more salient than the core story.

In a news story about an 18 year-old who travelled from Sheffield to Essex via Berlin because it was cheaper than taking the train, he also exposed what going to uni meant:
With the rising prices of university, I really didn't think it was for me. I'm not a big party animal and don't drink, so the social aspect of uni didn't appeal to me. I'd rather go out to work and make a difference.
